What You’ll Learn
The Art is 4 Every1 Certified Instructor online course will give you all you need to be able to learn or strengthen your color mixing skills and learn to use the Method, a technique that helps to teach all ages. You will have tools to help you turn any photo into a easy to understand lesson plan. Your own painting improves while you learn how to adapt and teach this method to others. The final lessons provide tips on teaching the many ages and abilities as well as the business and marketing steps to have your own successful business.
Color Basics
Starting with the basics of color theory and the color wheel, we move on through the choice of paint, palettes, and use of the palette knife. We begin mixing blacks and neutral colors.Then build upon your color mixing skillset with the ability to create vibrant greens, blues, yellows, reds, and whites! You master color mixing with the use of only the 3 primary colors and white.
The Painting Method
You will learn and practice this innovative method that will help your own painting too as you learn how to see a painting in simple steps that can be easily taught to all ages and abilities. Painting Demo videos and practice tips will have you rethinking how to create a painting in no time!
Breakdown Plans
Take any inspirational photo and quickly and easily break it down into paintable steps. These “breakdowns” become the lesson plans you use with your students in your classes. Charts to copy and use are included for practicing the plan outlines
Choose Your Class
Identify the type of class and student you want to teach as you learn the needs of each age and ability group. Lists of supplies you will need to bring to class and where to buy them in bulk sizes at wholesale prices. All the steps for how to prepare for your classes.
Reference File
Painting inspiration is everywhere, but it isn’t all free to copy. Learn where to find copyright free inspirational photos for use with your students. Categorize and organize them into files to bring and offer to students. Also learn which photos are appropriate for their individual ability .
Marketing
Forms, fees and, insurance .. Oh my! It’s not enough to be a good artist or an effective instructor. This module teaches you about record keeping, marketing, promotion, finding students, approaching facilities, scheduling classes, and social media too!
